My Story
I'm a fully qualified, registered Nutritionist. My passion for nutrition first stemmed from a love of cooking. After completing a three-month cooking programme at the prestigious Ballymaloe Cookery School in Cork, Ireland, I continued expanding my skills and experience as a chef in London and at a Michelin starred restaurant in Copenhagen.
During my time as a Chef, I began to evaluate the food and information in front of me critically. My time in the industry gave me a unique opportunity to assess the quality of information shared with consumers about the nutritional value of their food, and explore whether what was shared was factually accurate and grounded in science, or just another FAD part of popular diet culture.
Wanting to build on a career in Nutrition I continued my academic development at the University of Westminster completing a Masters in Global Public Health Nutrition and finishing at the top of my class with a Distinction. Through this experience and education, I understood first-hand how easily anyone could fall into a cycle of diet trends and be subsequently disappointed when the diet never works and long term goals are never met.
Now, I want to help you find a way to optimise your long-term health: by ditching the diets, changing your habits and directing you to a healthier life.
My Approach
I approach client relationships with compassion and empathy. I will tailor my approach to your specific health goals. Your health goals can’t be solely determined by looking at nutrition in isolation – a rounded view of sleep, mindset, stress levels and daily movements should all be taken into account.
Having previously been a Chef, I understand the importance of good food in our diet – not just for health but the happiness it can create in bringing people together. Let’s face it, restricting yourself to foods you don’t enjoy, calorie counting or taking supplements, isn’t fun. I want to help you create a balanced lifestyle, allowing you to enjoy the food you love and feed your body the nutrients it deserves.
I aim to work with you on both physical and psychological aspects of nutrition, taking time, step by step, to make your goals a reality and drive long-term change.
